Agyness Deyn

Agyness Deyn (born Laura Hollins on 16 February 1983) is an English model. In 2008, Deyn was hailed as "the fashion industry's next great supermodel" and has been called an "ambassador of British youth culture." She is currently starring in the Burberry and Giorgio Armani campaigns. However, she was recently dropped as the face of Burberry after Mario Testino dubbed her "over-publicised". He claimed she had been promoting her face everywhere and that he was tired with it. He has replaced her with Rose Huntingdon Whiteley, a D&G model. One of her regular customers in the chip shop was best friend Henry Holland, designer and creator of the House of Holland rhyming slogan T-shirts. She is now the face of the company. Deyn has appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia twice—the November 2006 issue and the September 2007 issue. Both covers were photographed by fashion photographer Steven Meisel. In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue, she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Jessica Stam, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels. She was also on the cover of the June 2007 issue of UK Vogueand June 2008, as well as the cover of the September 2007 Observer Woman supplement and covers of The Sunday Times Style, Pop, Grazia, Time Style & Life and numerous other international publications. Deyn has been called the new Kate Moss.

Agyness Deyn seen on Jun 10 2008 in London. The always daring Agyness Deyn was spotted turning the fashion volume up a notch at the Chanel Boutique Opening Event in London on June 10. For Aggy's look that is a tad more appropriate for everyday wear, start with Gold Hawk's Tribal Queen Shift Dress in Moonless Night, which has a similar silhouette as Agyness'. Next, grab a wide leather belt to wear high on the waist (Linea Pelle's Pocket and Chain Belt in Black has chains similar to the belt A.Deyn is wearing). Finish your look off with a pair of stunning earrings, like Michele Michel Jewelry's Red Jade Hammered Hoops in Silver. Matching red Chanel gloves, socks and arm cuff optional! While there's no question that Aggy is one of the most in-demand supermodels in the industry today, all of her hard partying is definitely taking its toll on her physique. Check out those nasty bruises on her legs! I doubt that her clients would be thrilled to see her strutted those gams on the runway. I know that you're part model, part rocker, Ag... but take it easy on your bod, girl!

Agyness Deyn seen on Jun 08 2008 in London. A new face to CoutureCandy, supermodel Agyness Deyn was spotted running errands in London on June 8, sportin' a pair of jeans that look like they got into a fight with a paper shredder... and lost! If you're digging Aggy's look, but not the super distressed aspect of the jeans, check out Deener's High Waist Cigarette Jean in Tar. However, if you like the shredded, superpunk look, and want to save a few bucks, grab a pair of scissors and go to town! For the rest of her edgy style, Agyness paired a vintage "Cramps" tee (for a similar screenprint tee look, grab Hussy Jr.'s Disco Doll Tee in White) with a silver gun necklace (Erica Anenberg's Junk Charm Necklace seems like it would be right up Aggy's alley) and a skinny black belt (like Jack Rabbit Collection's Bullet Belt in Black). Finishing touch? A pair of black Converse, of course! While I'm sure you all recognize Agyness from her numerous ad campaigns for top fashion houses, it seems that the unique model also has a love of singing. She recently took the stage at a party held by good friend Henry Holland, performing the song "Who" with the New York band 'Five O'Clock Heroes.' Wonder if she's any good?
